<<I just had a bad experience with purchasing my DELL computer. I had to go through a circular route to talk a life person, that took way too long. The person I was finally able to talk to, had a 1 to 2 second delay before the answer came back, and sounded like they had marbles in their month, finally, they wouldn't change my terms. I have bought 6 DELL computers though the years, I see no reason why DELL couldn't give me better terms when I order my computer days before the new financing and before it shipped. I'm pissed and unhappy about it. My take on the above is DELL getting too fat to handle customers without using a robot or some off shore answering service. Very BAD, cold, and impersonal.
po'd, most likely ex DELL customer. >>

My brother owns a company in which he has contracts with both DELL and Time Warner, basically to sell people computer packages along with time warner products......anyway, obviously he is a "re-seller" for DELL, meaning he gets wholesale pricing on everything DELL sells......If you need a DELL, any DELL, I am sure he can get you ( anybody else for that matter) a good deal, and you can deal direct with him, easy access, and not have to deal with DELL at all.....anybody interested, send me a PM and I will put you in touch with him......Or, just contact him directly at david@home-computer-tutor.com just tell him you are friends with me and he will take care of you......

Dell is probably snowed under with work, with business buying improving and having to build JIT for Christmas season gifts.
They will probably not fix the ordering problem until it begins to hurt then financially, or they get swamped with complaints.
Lets see how JD Main makes out on his order.
