Buddy, of course the Kurds knew, they were involved as I understand it. but to think they isolated Saddam while they negotiated with USA (which would have required negotiations FAR above the level of a field officer) is prepostorous. Frankly, as others have said, matters little to me how we got him, so long as we have him. But, I think its just plain crazy to think the Kurds would have captured him, held him, drugged him then deposited him in a hole and waited for us to get off our asses is beyond my level of belief. jdn
