Saddam used the time graciously provided to him by the UN Security Council to truck his WMDs into Syria - you think this guy will ever say sorry?

About as likely as debka and the Syrian journalist saying they're sorry if it turns out that there was nothing to truck. I expect it will be a while before it is known which gets the podium with the crow.

WMDs to syria is the same illogic as migs to Iran during the gulf war. Saddam is an idiot and a thug. He doesnt behave in any way that makes sense to us. What about the planes in the desert under the sand. Did he really think they would ever fly again? He probably figured with syria that they would hold them for him for some economic pipeline revenue. Actually he may have been right, if he and the french had their way and the US backed off. mike
