Of course, part of the problem is analyst speak and part of the problem is the author of the article "filtering" a few choice passages (often, changing the intended context. I'm especially careful when I see those famous "..." sections!). It is pretty funny to read about 2 of the top 10 semi companies in the world (samsung #2 and TSM #9, if my memory serves me correctly) and excluding them from the "traditional big spenders", vbg!! This article shows us another reason to keep in mind that one should always view the "news" with a heavy degree of skepticism.
