about five minutes before I read your message, precisely this thought crossed my mind ...

Its kind of funny, the US dollar should drop another 15% and the market may rise another 15%, so status-quo in value.

so perhaps my brain *is* working after all. :)

Now, of course, someone who is buying US stocks with a stronger currency comes out well ahead if the market continues up and the dollar (eventually?) recovers.

I wonder if anyone has a ball-park estimate of what the actual foreign investment is, as a function of time. I have no idea how big or how small this investment is, as a percentage.
