< I do share information with others as anyone who I go back and forth with in private will attest to (obviously not you). You aren't interested in what I'm doing in the market, if you were you would have asked me as many others have.>

This isn't relevant to the point... the point is there is lot's to gain for everyone if we all talk about trades we like, including stocks. I wouldn't know if I like your stocks or not since I don't see them. Based on your interactions on SI I wouldn't seek out your advice however.

<I don't give a f*ck about my image on SI, isn't that abundantly clear?>

That's not the energy I see emerging.

< SI is a circus sideshow with only limited entertainment value.>

That's actually complete bunk, there is more AND better fundamental knowlege on the biotech sector for instance than in ALL wall street houses drivel put together. Many non-biotech tech threads have had fundamental information posted on them WAY ahead of anything available on the street, and those aware and interested in certain sectors have been ahead of the curve many times. Scientists and technogeeks literally made me a fortune. I was a specialist on several exchanges and worked for an investment bank, and followed SI over most analysts on the street in many sectors.

<But meanwhile they've held dead money for almost a year>

To be honest if you're not willing to hold things for several times that period of time you're not even an investor in the classical sense. I held both biotech AND gold stocks for a couple years in some cases before the payoff... so what? That point is NOT relevant to investing.

<You guys aren't interested in hearing what I have to say about stocks, you're too busy trying to conform the world to what you already know and hanging on every doomcast from the non-resident guru and various perma bear sites. >

So far standing pat Heinz's scenario [for instance] has yeilded fantastic results, if you want to call it doom and gloom, whatever. Time will tell, I'm an investor, not a trader.

Hi Grace,

I'm universally disliked on almost every thread I post on.

I don't dislike you. Actually, I find some of your posts quite interesting.

SI is a circus sideshow with only limited entertainment value.

I don't think so. SI has been great for me. More times than I care to count, the bear perspective on some stock in which I may be interested has kept me from going long (and down the tubes) as the bear arguments come to pass into reality. On the other hand, there are also many stocks that some bulls have mentioned in passing that intrigue me. I'd have never heard of them if it weren't for someone posting about the stock or the company on SI. Some of them turned out to be great investments. For me, even the short term trading threads provide more information than mere entertainment value.

...but somebody bought those shares of mine, most likely some Clown Free Zone lurker...

I lurk the CFZ almost every day, and never once has any post made me go long or short any particular investment. I was never interested in DROOY, and have no interest even now. People (and that includes lurkers) have to take responsibility for their own actions (or inactions) and not rely on some random musings found on an Internet chat thread. Your expression of liking or disliking a particular stock is nowhere near tantamount to forcing me (or anyone else for that matter) to go long or short. That's my decision, and mine alone. No arm-twisting, no gun to the head scenario...

You guys aren't interested in hearing what I have to say about stocks, you're too busy trying to conform the world to what you already know and hanging on every doomcast from the non-resident guru and various perma bear sites.

I'm interested in what you have to say.

Best wishes to you for a Happy and Prosperous New Year...

KJC

that was not why you were banned, since you brought it up.

and what you say here:

too busy trying to conform the world to what you already know and hanging on every doomcast from the non-resident guru and various perma bear sites

is a very superficial read of the last four to five years, to say the least.

i think as we reach the next turn in the market of markets, this was as good a time as any to air out the winter bedding...

so folks, how about we move on with some views someone can use <g>

I read your posts and like the ones where you put out ideas. I don't know if that's good for your image though :o)

Now DROOY is a perfect example of how someone could have been helped or hurt by a public recommendation.
I've made a little money on it and lost a little money on it, likely lost more and got a whole lot of worry and anxiety. Some stocks I just don't get it seems. I have to be smart enough to know that much though ;o)
