COS.UN is one of my biggest holdings. I have to buy it under the symbol COSWF, but it is easier to trade than most pink sheet stocks, and reasonable limit orders fill readily. By "reasonable," I mean to get a quote (you can use Yahoo) in Canadian dolalrs, convert to current USD$, and then offer a little more--try 1% more to start with. At least that is how I do it.

The reserves seem limited (for the next 50 years) only by the size of the plants built to recover them; the syncrude is produced at steadily cheaper prices (like about $12-15 US). The process does run into problems at times because they are dealing with a very gummy substance that sometimes clogs their retorts, I guess you would call them, or "cokers." The product is very high quality oil. The dividend is good and should increase continually.
