If you do this for a living then of course it makes sense to not be giving anything away. As I've stated before it has nothing to do with "not giving it away". I've given away more advice than people wanted to hear. I have some terrific relationships that came out of SI. I've found people that are informed and sincere. I interact with these people on a regular basis. Sometimes I think it's a shame that the best part of SI is the part you don't see. I've also had some good public debates but very few about companies I'm invested in. Those debates I have with my partner.
