That about sums it up. Just have to wait until they die off. Any excuse to keep hanging on to Socialism. I actually had someone on another site use Trotsky (!) as a foil - of course Communism has never REALLY been tried, Trotsky said the USSR was a bureaucratically corrupted version that wasn't true to Marx. So obviously, we must keep on trying to get it right. Trotsky being the authority, of course, because he never got the opportunity to lead his own Terror State, and murder millions. Since Marx never spelled out what EXACTLY a Communist state would really look like, and there are as many ideas in that regard as there were and are socialists, the perverse dream keeps on truckin. Truly idealists - no amount of empirical evidence can sway them. Derek
