I heard that the fire trucks didn't have ladders long enough to get a guy up there to hose down the fires. I don't see why not...Damn dumb of them. Probably why the fire burned for so long....

It would help a lot if these 2 infrared pics had some kind of temperature reading on them.

Also what the heck was burning for 3 months as Pataki stated on that article??
