From what I understand Mexican workers are encouraged to slip across the border whilst border guards look the other way. Beneficiaries of this non-policy are the states of Texas, NM, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado,etc.. The state governors know this is happening & so does DC. The Lobbyists are continuosly pleading their case in Washington to not stop the illegal immigration. Where else could the restaurants, the market gardeners, & the vineyards hire labor for $2.00/hr. Certainly no decent American would work for that wage.
