No, Cubans are pretty well assimilated here. For instance are you aware that Miami, Fla. has the SECOND LARGEST Cuban population? First is Havana, Cuba. We have many central Americans also. Used to be if you needed a nanny you could go to a certain place in Miami and pick one up fairly cheap (live in). Those days are long gone. We have probably as much agriculture as Calif. (most people dont know that Agriculture is Fla.'s largest industry). However all those workers are here on WORK PERMITS. The companies make the arrangements in various Carribean countries and permits are issued, they then return when the season is over. jdn
