General Clark is setting himself up for 2008 to run as an Independent or Libertarian candidate, between now and then he will disavow his Democrat status...

2008 Democratic Presidential candidates will lead off with HillyBill Clinton followed by at least 15 other hopefuls...

2008 Republican Presidential candidates will lead off with Colin Powell followed by at least 15 other hopefuls...

2008 President will be Colin Powell with Wesly Clark(bought off) as VP, Sec of State will be Condaleeza Rice, Sec of Def will be Arnold Schwartznegger....

They will be exciting times for all Americans...

As long we are into predicting I also see Israel buying 3 Canadian provinces for the relocation of the State of Israel...Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta.

Palestine will take over present day Israeli lands and create the largest Terrorist base in the Middle East.

New wars will erupt in the ME between New Iraq, Iran and New Palestine......US will be long gone.

China (2008) will become the number 1 Manufacturing location in the World...cheap labor.
China(2016) will face internal Revolution of mega proportion, it will emerge as the worlds largest importer of goods as well as remaining the Worlds #1 Manufacture.

The entire Pacific Rim will become subserviant to China.

India will overtake Hollywood as the Movie Capital of the World and provide the rest of the world with cheap High Tech labor..........

2030 Canada, America, Central America, South America will become 1 Nation...AmerCanSo... with control centered in Chicago, Illnois, this new Country will be the leader of the World due to their Military might and Food producing capability.

Clark has some serious questions to answer.

Here he claims that Iraq was a "bait and switch" and "uneccessary war":

boston.com

Here he is quoted as stating "In a speech at the University of Iowa College of Law, on September 19th, Clark had declared that chief among America's mistakes was that it had gone to war in Iraq without "the mantle of authority" bestowed by United Nations approval."

gopkorea.blogs.com

But then this site goes on to cite the similarities between Iraq and Clark's own advocacy of introducing US ground troops into Kosovo and Serbia:

"But hadn't the Kosovo war also been conducted without the endorsement of the U.N. Security Council? Yes, Clark allowed, and in that regard the Kosovo war was "technically illegal." He went on, "The Russians and the Chinese said they would both veto it. There was never a chance that it would be authorized." That situation did not seem entirely dissimilar from the prewar maneuverings regarding Iraq, when France and Germany said that they would oppose any Security Council resolution authorizing an immediate war; Bush bypassed the U.N. and resorted to an alliance with Prime Minister Tony Blair's Britain and sundry lesser members of the "coalition of the willing.""

So here we have clear evidence of Clark criticizing Bush on advocating an "illegal war", when he was guilty of trying to "end run" the Joint Chiefs of Staff directly to the White House, advocating EXACTLY the same actions in Kosovo...

And what was the reason for advocating a US invasion of Serbia and Kosovo? WMDs? 17 binding UN resolutions based upon a previous resolution that had not prohibited use of military force?

No... Alleged genocide against the Kosovars.

Of course, PROVEN GENOCIDE against both Kurds and Shiites was not sufficient to make Iraq a justified war.

Dean should be more of a pushover on the issue because he'll be seen as weak on national security. But it would be even more interesting to see Clark squirm and explain his way out of own actions during the intervention into the Balkans.

Especially since there were NO STRATEGIC US INTERESTS involved in the Balkans, as there were in the Mid-East.

I believe the analysis of that second website is spot on.
