As you know, I've always admired your approach, but I've never been nimble enough to trade like you do. I tend to adopt a "portfolio" approach -- generally staying 100% invested in a range of sectors and stocks, then taking partial profits when one pops and adding to another I think is undervalued. I've recently reduced my PM holdings to "only" about 50% of my PF. Another 15% is in base metals, about 6% each in energies and techs, another 10% in China/India special plays and the balance in the futures markets. Still a high risk PF with very little "negative correlation", but I'm happier with this than being 110% PMs and BMs like a few months ago! <vbg>

Lots of ways to do this, but as Livermore used to say, "Never lose your position".

Best regards,
Howy
