..... and add to that methane hydrates .... a renewable source of energy ......... and technology may bring us cheap solar and fusion energy ........ not to mention nuclear energy which is currently completely ignored for some reason.

France is almost all "nuclear" for their electricity needs ... then why not the US? or China ? or any other country in the world?
