Bin Laden was trained and funded by the Mujahadeen. The US trained and funded a group of Saudis in SA. But not Bin Laden, even though we fought on the same side. This is well documented.

You're right. The U.S. conducts the torture training in a school in Georgia, called School of the Americas. The students are often "revolutionaries" from South and Central America. Here, Glad Tidings, is more information:
