As I said elsewhere, job growth is not happening at a pace that reflects recovery from the losses of the last 2-3 years. Do the math. If you acknowledge that as many as 3 mill jobs were lost in that period, then job "growth" of 100K per month is not recovery at all. The economy would have to be expanding much faster than it is now to make up for the pace at which it contracted since 2000. So many of those jobs are lost for good. Not that I think that in itself is bad. People have to adapt. But to call what is happening now "job growth" is a bit of a delusion.
