Dean will spend more than Bush on US-based social programs probably, things like extending unemployment insurance. But it is technically impossible to spend more than Bush on corporate pork I'd say. The SS drug entitlement takes the cake, 400 billion is it, in no cost control pharma payouts? Add this to the farm bill at 190 billion for the farm lobby... hey I'll bet if you really try, and analyze the budget you can count up ONE TRILLION in Bush pork enacted in just one term. Has to be a record.
