Andy's certainly an expert at global outsourcing having shifted tens of thousands of jobs offshore to Malaysia, Phillipines, Costa Rica, Isreal, Ireland, China, and maybe more since I sold all my INTC and last looked. As he said it's an attempt to reduce costs in a competitive world, which doesn't help a bit if you're one of the victims. It also speaks ill of INTC's ability to maintain profitability and do anything but become a commodity chip company with margin earnings growth from here on.
