Gloop, Gloop, Gloop .... coming 'round to blow smoke up my a$$ ???

I don't how we could possibly even keep it close

Not buying it Gloop; blow yer smoke elsewhere.

Of course it will be a close game ... blowouts are rare in the playoffs and the Eagles are not built for blowouts. Expect a good game into the 4th quarter; then it's time for defenses to step up and win the game.

From what I saw of your D last week, they're not capable. I could be wrong; they could have a great day, who knows. On the other hand, I'll take our D to step up with Dawkins out there as its' leader. Please though, no "I don't know how we could possibly even keep it close" stuff ...

As far as the Pack's injuries, please, let's not go there. I don't believe any team in the NFL has sustained the number of key injuries to critical players as the Eagles have this year ... hell, we missed more Pro Bowl player games with Dawkins, Taylor and Vincent being out than most teams have Pro Bowlers.

Now we lose Eammons and Westbrook for the playoffs ... in addition to the other 8 season ending injuries already incurred.

In reality, Vincent is in worse shape than McKenzie ...

As far as stats, truth be told, my feeling is they're for losers ....

Never saw a stat yet score a winning touchdown ... or block a field goal. If stats were that important there'd be no need for games.

Will be nice to see Al Harris back in town; he's very well liked by the players ... the first person he called on his cell last week as he hit the locker room was B Dawk ... then Vincent

That said, I know they'd love to kick his butt this week.

JB

PS .... hope you're well my friend ... enjoy the game ... win or lose !
