Good morning IGIT,

You read only half of my explanation then responded, please read the whole explanation I posted.

Here is the rest of the explanation;

" Peter is simply stating to the Church, that the promised return of the Lord Jesus Christ, being imminent to occur in some of thier lifetimes, would not happen until all those whom God has chosen have been saved. ""

Again the time frame is about 40 years, up until 70 AD, when the Lord returned to Judge the wicked and just.

I do not see any inconsistencies whatsoever, the Lord will not return and Judge Israel until all of His " Elect " have come to repentance. This did happen at 70 AD.

Grace and peace unto you IGIT.

Robert
