I have always thought of spam as like getting unwanted adds, phone calls, emails etc.from some sort of business. I was going by the written rules posted by SI. I was not aware of any unwritten rules that applied to SI. Now if you and others like you who are aware of unwritten rules and you do see a possible violation and it bothers you more than you can handle why don't you try and be helpful in explaining to those of us who were not aware instead of circling the hapless victim like a pack of wolves going for the kill. :-) You said....." Yes david I'm sure you are a very nice warm guy who just wants to be helpful to the site administrator. If that were the case why didn't you and others let me deal with SI Bob by myself to determine exactly what I did wrong that was in violation of SI rules. I mean after all the mistake on my part had already been reported to SI Bob so exactly why did you have to involve your self in my problem with SI. WHY DAVE? And you were not alone. So you were wrong? Why not just say you made a mistake instead of saying something that would make me respond. So maybe in the future you remember your own mistakes before you jump on others for theirs. You posted this statement that I made to SI Bob...." You forgot to include the smily face at the end of that statement...It was meant to show the administrator that I understood and felt a bit silly for not being aware of all SI rules. As for the use of the word " kind " it was meant to apply to folks like you who seem to just have to jump on someone if they sense and easy victory. If you must try to be helpful to SI Bob at least try to develop a kinder attitude. My statement to SI Bob was a serious question as to whether it was alright to pass along his explanation of the term " spam " as it applies to SI . As I am sure there are many like myself who are not aware of these rules. I would even pass it along to those I argue with as well. :-) I asked you this..." Ever make any mistakes?"... Your reaction...." All the time, but rarely twice.".... IMO David you made a mistake when you interfered in my discussion with someone else and SI Bob and you continued to repeat the mistake a number of times to satisfy your own ego. So try owing up to your own mistakes and perhaps in the future you will let SI administration handle SI violations and explanations of SI rules. So be it. Rest easy, as I have nothing further to add to the subject, at least not on this thread. :-)
