Piggybacks are pretty dangerous. I think some states don't allow them.

Out west they not only have tandems but TRIPLEs. Most of our vacations are DRIVING ones as my love is offroading and I prefer the trails out west. I love to drive, but sadly those big rigs really hurt my experience. I think we would be all better off if such large loads were relegatged to trains and trucks used SINGLY for intercity rather then INTERSTATE. jdn
