....and appears to be US paranoia. no "appearing" about it. it is. anyway, i think all these half way measures are silly .... just come right out and prohibit air travel and close the borders completely. don't let anyone in - or out. bring the troops back and station them up along the mexican and canadian borders - maybe even build a wall, berlin style; have the navy patrol the pacific and atlantic and gulf of mexico and the airforce will be the only planes flying overhead. stop all mail from entering the u.s. to eliminate that white powder stuff. fine tune space weaponry and threaten any country that looks at you sideways. then all the authorities need to worry about would be home grown dissenters, but hell, they're easy enough to squash. just call them traitors and mass hysteria will take over. oh silly me. that's starting to happen already isn't it? on another note - canada's national post is akin to faux news. you probably knew that. -rose
