Indeed, he's taken the worst employment hangover in history and reversed it in record time. By any measure, the employment picture today is better than it was the day Clinton left office.

BTW, there was no presidential election in 98. You must be thinking of mid term congressional elections, which most conservatives didn't expect much out of.
