Hi Chip,

Thanks.

No Debt

A technological advantage - proprietary knowledge that serves as a barrier to entry.
Growth with in their niche or better yet dominance.
I like stocks that are illiquid and microcaps.I accumulate them over time.go slowly - over years.
I like their business to be cyclical and the cycle are best when they are short - in case I get greedy and miss the top.gg
While at the peak earnings they should have 50 gross profits or better and 15% net margins.

The product should fit my image of what my tomorrow looks like. i.e. KVHI - satellite communication -it is the future.Cohu my tomorrow uses exponentially more chips - they all must be tested and handled,Sbse embedded computers field prgrammable gate arrays will become commonplace in tomorrow's world.Oracle (my one big cap)Huge databases will take away our rights but give those of us who are not terrorists - safety, health and information - something we are all becoming addicted to-the future has many more databases in it. Oracle knows how to do the biggest and is trying to buy those who do the mid size.

Other than that I look for more stocks that fit my tomorrow.

I also visit the facilities (except Oracle)I like to shake the hand of the CEO,COO or investor rep.Investors never do it and management likes to meet people who are interested in their performance - it is an ego thing and I enjoy learning the management team and experiencing the dog and pony show.It is fun!!

See how easy it is.GG
