You didn't read deep enough. Are you claiming that intelligence hadn't already debunked the Niger story prior to Bush's state of the union speech? Was it a lie to rely on intelligence that was opposite from what it told you?

How many times did you listen to Bush say "Saddam kicked out the weapons inspectors?" Was this intelligence-reliant? Fact of the matter is Clinton pulled them when he resumed the bombing. Is this a lie?

Did the Administration use surrogates from the Defense Policy Board to lie in order to wage the propganda campaign to promulgate the war?

Are not people dying today as a result of those lies?

"[D]isingenuous" would be to ignore the truth, distort or change the truth in order to achieve a certain result. This is precisely what Bush and his administration has done.
