This means that in the next session of Congress the Republican Majority will be so strong that Delay and the other leaders will not have to defer as much to moderate Republicans. The downside of this is that Social Legislation will be easier to pass. I won't like the results of a lot of that, I think.

That will make 2 of us who won't be happy. I think you've got the political dynamic properly assessed.
