I created a "View 1" tab and arranged it the way I wanted it. Quicken opens to that tab if I close it that way. The Home tab is still there but i never look at it.

What version of Quicken are you using? What I suggested works in v.2001 on MY computer. Checking 'none' causes Q to open with the page I closed with previously.

Do you use different views as Tom suggested or did it work previously with your normal setup?

It's a shame Intuit doesn't support their products. Heavy on sales and promotion, non-existent on support.
