On the startup tab uncheck everything (write down the ones you uncheck...you may want to recheck them after the install) except the following and then proceed with the instructions.

StateMgr
SchedulingAgent
LoadPowerProfile (NOTE: there are two of these...leave them both alone)
SystemTray
PCHealth
TaskMonitor
ScanRegistry

The more I try to fix MICROSOFT WORD 2000 SR-1 ME the more I mess something else up. My latest problem is when I try to load MICROSOFT WORKS SUITE 2001 SETUP I get "Internal Error 2735. UninstallShoeboxDLL". when it is half way downloaded. What can I do to remove that error? I am sorry to be a pain.
