Avram Burg was just trying to be outrageous and get some attention. He was considerably pounded on for his remarks, and will be some more now that Pat Buchanan has weighed in with his usual nonsense. Buchanan really hates Arik Sharon doesn't he? Sharon has delivered war? Um, wasn't it already going when he came to office? I love this boo-hooing about the rights of the Palestinians, as if Buchanan gave a damn about them. Hundreds of millions of oppressed Arabs, hundreds of thousands in jail or killed by their own governments, everybody cares so passionately only about the woes of the Palestinians. Gee, what a riddle. Fortunately, who listens to Pat Buchanan these days? He has joined the Democrats in pretended that 9/11 didn't happen, or at least that it didn't mean anything.
