If you listen to Richard Perle, American Enterprise Institute, blather on it's obvious that the IMMEDIACY of invasion was the possible rehabilitation of Saddam in the eyes of the world.

It was not about WMDs, terrorism or anything else because invasion was a foregone conclusion.
