The amazing advances in technology make the drug benefit plan a very like money saver in the long run. And change the increases the use of preventive drugs will save money and make for better lives. Also these saved lives will be more productive for longer and America can use the wisdom of it's older members. And the other investment many conservatives seemed to complain about is the education money being spent. I see that as more preventive investment in the infrastructure of America and in a way a major part of fighting terrorism. I can see some of those who could be left behind becoming terrorists.

There is the why and there is the how. I think the President knows how. But 85 to 95% of dems don't know their ass from their elbow and 5 to 15% of republicans don't know their ass from their elbow.

The President in reality has a thin if any majority or control to get it done right. The immigration issue is thorny and I cann't say I really know where the President is going. But so many areas he hit the bullseye. In a few areas it was not possible because he is not the King. But I will give him 100% of my support because I consider him honest and truly looking out for all Americans. And the alternative is vile and should be flushed.

I hope torte reform is on the future agenda. Getting judges appointed that are not vetoed by the latrine swimmers is also very important.
