No. Due to the timing of the election cycle, it looks like pandering for the Hispanic vote to me. To change the law to suit the illegals is divisive. And I am really tired of that 'we couldn't wipe our own asses with out them' bull shit.. We should make them pay double taxes, let them support us...lol But the whole thing can be viewed as a failure of Mexico and other southern nations to provide work for their own. It shouldn't be my problem. But you are correct, they ain't leaving, so maybe this is the start of a solution.
