Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Footstar Inc. shareholder Chapman
Capital LLC said it has expressed interest in leading a group in
acquiring Footstar for $8 a share.
Chapman Capital disclosed the offer for the West Nyack, New
York-based company in a filing with the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission.

I suggest reading the filing, some very funny stuff. For example

After speaking with Mr.Olshan, apparently unendowed with skills Chapman Capital often finds in respected public company fiduciaries, Mr. Chapman developed a better
understanding as to why Mr. Olshan may have been fired from his senior executive post at Wells Rich Green BDDP, and determined that Mr. Olshan should be fired as well from the Issuer's Board at the earliest possible date.
