Try diversifying.

Don't be a mono-mineiac. I can be one as I own one. But most investors should be diversified. Sectorially gold can be good to you.

There is on part of the math that maximizing gains ignores.

Straddling 5 to 10 stocks (10 was Baruch's recommendation) allows you to LOSE LESS, should the UNFORESEEN happen. (It always does. The future by definition is mostly unforeseen.)

It's called money management.

Don't gamble. Invest.
