We legalize them, force them into military service, and send them to fight the "Bush" wars.

Kenneth,
I received commendation on the answer you've rejected:)

Action should have been taken before this. It would be necessary to have local authorities take them into custody, screen them and allow those who are employed without criminal record to apply for the president's work permit. Any with criminal record should be returned to Mexico--they're the Fox's problem. Any unemployed should be returned as well. THEN the border with Mexico should be better guarded against influx of more illegals. Immediate return to Mex. for those who do not have work permit. In addition, there should be quota on numbers of these non-citizens who are admitted since we need to provide employment as well for those U.S. citizens who are qualified for only low-wage jobs. Numbers should also be restricted so that the dirt-cheap labor does not erode hard-earned pay scales for long-time citizens. They should not become a burden on American taxpayer for social svcs. Fox can set up a medical fund for their use if they become ill while in USA. Mexico benefits from money sent back to family plus American jobs sent there as result of NAFTA--that gov can be helpful in other ways as well.
