i haven't tried netcaptor. i am enamored with netscape 7.1 - its free, free, tabbed browsing, and real clean and fast. nice email filtering (i use netscape as my email for time warner road runner.). larry

Thanks for sharing the results of your quick test of Netcaptor. Those drawbacks you mention are significant, IMO. Maybe Netscape 7.1 is the way to go for tabbed browsing. Several have reported they like it on the thread.

I wonder when IE will catch up with a new version? Probably right after I go to the trouble of switching over. <G>
