As for Taiwan, I have said so many times already, it is China's domestic affair, and NO one, including the US, has the right to interfere. China will keep its word and its territory intact at any cost.

It is not really relevant how many people in Taiwan want independence. Even if 100% of them want, comparing with 1.3 billion Mainlanders, 20 million are still absolute minority.

No matter how many times you make an assertion, it's still an assertion. Repletion does not lend legitimacy. There are serious questions about any Chinese claim on Taiwan's territory. To maintain it's irrelevant what the wants of the indigenous people are, raises the specter of aggressive subjugation.

Consider taiwandc.org Since the Taiwanese seemed to have entered the modern world under the Dutch; perhaps Amsterdam has a better claim than Beijing.

Thanks for the link to Early Soviet Foreign Policy . I'm still "digesting" it.
