Thanks for your take Louis.. It's interesting I went the other way. I had been looking at it in the short time frame first using amarsp's gold charts and then I duplicated his for WTIC.. The back of the napkin calcs in the other post were because I wanted really to see if Crude was up only on the dollar but it's not (I used the entire year). The dollar is only half the story there. Being 40% energy that was important for me to know and influenced my recent CUX.TO buy and additions to Batex earlier. So the base metals are showing the same USD effect as gold. Good to be sure of that thanks.
