Kudlow was yapping in CNBC this morning that the US dollar is very undervalued vs. the Euro and that the European central bank is getting ready to cut rates in order to pursue a "stable" Euro policy. He loves the US Dollar and hates gold given that he expects a rate cut.

IN general, I think he is a complete moron. I also think a policy of competitive devaluations would be a very poor long term choice, but he may have a point about how people would react in the short term.

I have a gold position. So I am curious about whether he is right.

One other possible reaction could be that Europeans start buying gold also because there own real cash returns would also become less attractive.
