I took it down a long time ago and never bothered to put it back up.

It's going to be irrelevant with the new interface. All thread names (and even headers) will be searchable, no matter what their age or how long they've been inactive. Actually, that's going to be true in the development environment in a few more hours, provided iHub doesn't do another distracting shutdown.
