It does come down to simple trust. I have a four and five year old and I watch them trust me with complete abandon, with all my flaws. I read today that the Holy Spirit keeps our prayers from just being self talk.
I must be still and know that he is God before I can get the strength to respond to the opportunity before me.

"Even as a minister"..

You hear that many times and you wonder why it is hard even if you are a minister.

My only comment is that it is hard period. It shouldn't make any difference if you are a minister or not.

As a holy nation and a royal priesthood we are in effect all ministers and ambassadors for the most high God.

If as a minister the conclusion of it being hard might just come from the attitude that is isn't supposed to be as hard on them because of their position in the body of Christ.

You might call it a case of excessive expectations.
