then the Technical Support you receive from Dell will continue to degrade....

Didn't Dell recently annouce that it is moving a call center back to the States?

Informix learned a lesson with IDS version 7.30 ---- did all the work in India; then had to do a hurry UP and fix release with IDS version 7.30uc2 to fix all of the bugs.

My take on today is the dollar is going lower, and the way to play it is domestic makers that have intense foreign competition. Look at CAT over the last several months.
Tougher to play that theme in tech, since so much production is in Asia. But old-line, old economy outfits will benefit, in my opinion.
Looking further out, within a year or so, another wave of innovation is approaching in tech, just what you're talking about. Exciting stuff, too.
I just hope we get the traditional pullback this Spring.
