Thanks for the report. Glad it worked out. Sounds like CDex has a very easy learning curve.

Do you know what bit rate the mono speech quality is in kpbs? 64,32, ? If you just highlight the file in Windows Explorer a pop up box will have that information. When I use the speech setting, dbPowerAmp seems to still use whatever bit rate I have selected. I'm wondering if there is an accepted good quality bit rate for speech? Like 128 kpbs is for music.
