Silly article Steve. Accusations will fly at Bush from the hateful dems and hard core lefties no matter what he says and does. The reason we went to war with Iraq was that a stable and democratic presence in the middle east would help IMMENSELY in the war on terror, and the justification was that Saddam's regime was in violation of the terms of their surrender in the original gulf war. The Saddam supporters in the U.N., Europe and a minority in the U.S. thought it no big deal that he thumbed his nose at the U.N. and the world so the case had to be built. The case was based on intelligence that the whole world believed for the most part, but people like you will say that Bush lied instead of acknowledging that Saddam was the liar. The trust extended to this man by the likes of you against our own country is truly hard to believe. It has just showed me that haters in America are alive and well. But fortunatley it has showed that to the rest of the country as well. You (dems and lefties) are isolating yourself from the main America loving and trusting public and making it easy to chose what side to support. There are quite a few that will take the same side as Saddam and the terrorists, but the majority will trust our President to make our country (and the world) safer. Bummer for the terrorists and lefties. Good for the honest folks who appreciate what America stands for.
