If the established known companies aren't the ones creating jobs then the jobs people say they have in the household survey don't show up. They can't call companies they don't know exist.

so what it is we have here...

we have always had a component of legitimate work at home individuals, and though it's hard to find statistics on the income generated by these work at home enterprises, for the most part i would *guess* that they are to be considered augmenting salaries.

anyway you spin it, the december job data was abysmal (though it certainly coincides with the anecdotal evidence i have been gathering from my business contacts, ie...there has been NO hiring)...and let's not forget the substantial downward revisions from october and november.

any recovery that does not generate jobs is unsustainable.
