Did anyone catch the discussions about Verizon's proposed build out on CNBC, Krudlow & Crackhead, Nightly Business Report? All of them had feature pieces with Verizon CEO himself, so this news made the rounds. Only, I can't remember whether they are committing 1 billion or 3 billion to this. All the shows also speculated that the other carriers would follow suit or fall behind. All of this hinges on Verizon getting some kind of dispensation from the Feds, right? So, I'm glad that this news was pumped out several ways, but how big is it really going to be and would Verizon come out with all this unless they were pretty sure they would get approval? Only companies that I can remember being mentioned being beneficiaries of this buildout were lucent, nortel and afci. Comments, thoughts, rants??? Lurking, CMM
