the thing that is so troubling about this jobs situation, at least to me, is the complete cluelessness regarding what is happening from the government.

Kudlow and Cramer last night said that Elaine Chow (what a loser) was coming on cnbc in the AM... and she was going to have a smile on her face!! Kudlow: "they're predicting 150K jobs, Jim... but I am expecting 250K!!" Cramer: "gee Larry, maybe we might get 300K!"

The fact that Larry Kudlow seems to have ties to the white house is disturbing. If these people can't even see that every single US multinational is making plans to dump their workforce offshore what can I say?

This whole 1K jobs creation was for the christmas season which was *supposed* to be a blowout. By the end of the month the real numbers were reported but the hiring plans were made in months prior and retail did hire for Xmas this year. What this means is that the manufacturing and professional workforce probably took a HUGE HIT in December and was offset by 50K or so low wage retail hires.

Bleechhh!
