Japan is acting as a US colony in these matters IMHO

Hard to believe that a once proud nation and people could have been reduced to such a lowly political status despite having the world's second largest economy. They are doing their upmost to keep US consumers living beyond their means even though their own consumers have a substantially lower standard of living than do Americans.

there's a difference between them buying real property in the prior years and financing our debt now.

They are not helping us, IMO. They are helping our government confiscate economic potential from this and the next generation.
